Decor + Vibes
Everyone watches women’s sports – and men’s sports sometimes too, I guess. Sports Illustrated Stadium is home to both the men’s NY Red Bulls and women’s NJ/NY Gotham FC. As someone who wasn’t a big fan of soccer, it’s pretty cool to be so close to a stadium and cheer on the home team. Tickets are usually very cheap and it’s a fun, new experience for many – young and old. Plus it’s just steps from the PATH train and has reasonable parking fees.
Amazing seats and views for affordable prices
It’s giving Bed-Stuy’s Tompkins Ave before the transplants took over. Lots of small businesses and hidden gems. The area is rapidly growing and new things are popping up every day – and at least for now, the charm is still there.
Annual Halsey Festival
You can never go wrong with a W hotel. If you’re hoping to stay somewhere a bit closer to NYC, and down to splurge a bit, check out the W Hoboken. Jersey location, NYC views. Short walk to the train taking you to NY or Newark.
