i’m never in WeHo, but when i am, i try and make this a stop. they don’t have a menu; just tell them what you like, and watch them work. i’ve never been disappointed.
i actually fuck with it because it’s no frills. they just opened a more upscale spot next door that you can access from the restaurant if you want something more energetic, but i’m sticking to my guns here!
venice is another part of town that’s on the opposite end of the earth, but Si! Mon is worth the trek. central american meets californian cuisine. very smooth fo date night. can get rowdier on the bar side, but if you’re just there to grab some food, it’s calm.
pleasantly surprised by the sweet corn bollo and the bragada & sea bass carpaccio. the steak didn't hit but that's just me.
it's like korean bar bites. everything's pretty much family style. lowkey, affordable, and delicious. i took a korean friend there and he approved, so you know it’s legit.
