Delicious and fresh modern take on Nigerian and West African cuisine. They’ve got a smaller spot in POST Houston and a standalone restaurant on Westheimer where they bring in DJs.
The food itself is phenomenal - Highly recommend the Golden Bowl, Buka, and Sweet Plantains
Excellent Italian inspired dishes in a gorgeous restaurant. It’s located in the heart of Rice Village with tons of shops nearby making this an easy place to pop into while you’re out and about.
Location — tons to do in the area
Bun B’s official burger spot in the city is worth the hype and the visit. It’s a fast casual spot but watch out because the lines can get LONG when it’s busy.
The atmosphere is vibey and the staff is great
A Houston staple for streetwear and exclusive footwear; Black women-owned shop holding down the community for years
Houston-only merch
The former post office turned multi-use space and food hall is one of the best places in the city to eat, explore, and shop. It’s like kaleidoscope of fun stuff to do all in one place
The rooftop ambience and views of the city are hard to beat
If you know you know. This bar/nightclub is somewhat of a hole in the wall but the music is fire and the drinks are strong. You’ll hear everything from Boosie to Usher and a few line dancing songs too.
The atmosphere is really chill and people are nice
I'm a Jersey girl living in Texas enjoying the southern charm. I'm into all things art, films, and sports and nobody does it better than H-Town.
