State Bird Provisions

Fillmore, San Francisco· 1.9mi from Chase Center

State Bird prides itself in “slow food served fast”. It’s high-taste American food served in small plates via carts like dim sum. The menu is ever changing and you can tell everything is made and served with precision and intention. Your experience can be open and inquisitive if you’re at the chef’s counter or close and intimate in one of their alcoves. It’s a little pricey but 100% worth it. Just be sure to make a reservation first.

Defining Feature

Tastefully curated menu of small plates

YAMO
Restaurant
YAMO
The Mission, San Francisco· 1.9mi from Chase Center

Yamo’s one of the city’s greatest treasures. It’s a true hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant: just a tiny countertop in the Mission with 8 seats and a bustling atmosphere. Yamo has some of the best garlic noodles you’ll ever have. Yamo also serves up rich and tasty curries, restorative soups, and excellent salads. Everything looks like anime food. Oh and everything is also under $10.

Defining Feature

Lots of flavor for little price (I also hear they have a mayor)

Japantown’s a calm neighborhood with so much to do, eat, and love. Hotel Kabuki has great decor and vibes with rooms that have amazing views of the neighborhood and city. Most of SF’s hotels are either in North Beach or the Tenderloin—Hotel Kabuki in Japantown offers a less touristy environment.
